Burrascano Treatment Guidelines 2008
Document
Dr. Burrascano's Treatment Guidlines 2005 (not for kid with autism only)
Please note:  Dr. Burrascano's treatment plan is for your reference for the treatment of Chronic Lyme Disease.  This is not necessarily the recommended protocol for all Autistic kids however some may benefit.  Our children have special needs when it comes to their treatment which needs to be considered.    We recommend that if your child has Autism AND a Lyme disease diagnosis to go to a doctor who is knowledgeable in both the treatment of chronic lyme disease and autism spectrum disorder and can determine the right treatment approach for your child.
The information on this website is for educational purposes only.  It is given in good faith to help people understand more about this disease.  It is not intended to replace or supersede patient care by a healthcare providor.  If an individual suspects the presence of a tick-borne illness, that individual should consult a healthcare provider who is familiar with the diagnosis and treatment of tick-borne diseases and autism.
