The Lyme-Autism Connection Conference - June 26 - 29th, 2008
Location

The location for the 2008 Lyme-Autism Connection conference will be the beautiful Hyatt Grand Champions Resort in Indian Wells, CA.   Just a few miles from the Palm Springs Airport.  You'll enjoy a four star, AAA rated property which includes a 30,000 square foot spa - Agua Serena Spa (just named "One of the Top 100 Spas in the World!") , seven swimming pools, camp Hyatt for the kids and just adjacent to the Indian Wells Golf Resort.    We encourage vendors and attendees to bring the entire family to enjoy this location.

The average temperature for the end of June in Indian Wells is 87 degrees, so bring your shorts!  Each of the 480 guest rooms have a private balcony or patio with breathtaking panoramic views of the mountain-studded skyline.   We have negotiated special room rates of just $125/night before taxes and hotel fees.

Our room block is currently sold out, however, the hotel has offered to honor our group rate for last minute reservations.  You must do the following in order to get this rate:

1.  Call the hotel directly at:  760-341-1000
2.  Ask for the Front Desk
3.  When you get the front desk ask to speak to the Front Office Manager
4.  Tell them you are with the Lyme/Autism group coming in this week and would like the special group rate for your reservation.   The front office manager has instructions to give the group rate if rooms are available at the hotel.

Operation Knowledge

This scholarship program helps parents and physicians with financial limitations attend our educational seminars and conferences at a discounted rate or complimentary depending on their income.  The LIA Foundation understands that it costs an extraordinary amount of money to raise a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder.  Many parents cannot afford the registration expenses involved in attending educational conferences.  In order to spread more awareness and knowledge to those in need, this is an important part of our mission.

The information on this website is for educational purposes only.  It is given in good faith to help people understand more about this disease.  It is not intended to replace or supersede patient care by a healthcare providor.  If an individual suspects the presence of a tick-borne illness, that individual should consult a healthcare provider who is familiar with the diagnosis and treatment of tick-borne diseases and autism.
